who we are
Our Debating and Great Figures contests, the Science Fair and Open Day are some of the highlights and features of life at Colégio de S. Tomás, which aims at offering wholesome experiences in which each student can discover and enhance the true self.
In the Debating Contest and the Great Figures Contest, Colégio de S. Tomás gives students the opportunity to develop their communicating, debating and critical analytical skills. It is part of our mission to build a school that is a place of culture.
Students are invited to take part in the Science Fair with questions of their own viewed through the scientific method, as part of the experimental learning that the school encourages.
We hold an Open Day to provide an opportunity to communicate what we live and learn in day to day life at Colégio de S. Tomás. It is held every year on the closest Saturday to St. Tomas’ day, 28 January, and is an opportunity for our students to acknowledge and present their work in a broader perspective.
